The U.S. Senate is getting closer to debating a cybersecurity bill, the Cyber Information Sharing Act [1], which will create a voluntary process aimed at protecting private information. A “discussion draft” of the proposed bill includes provisions that would send threatening data to the Department of Homeland Security which would then share it with other federal agencies.
